It was fantastic to see you all at our ELSA CPD Day yesterday, that was focused on ‘Supporting Children and Young People’s Mental Health.’ It has been great to hear how much you enjoyed it, and that you all went away with lots of helpful information that is relevant to your day-to-day ELSA practice.
Here’s some of the things you said…
“A brilliant day! Out of all the ELSA Conferences, this has been the best one yet!”
“I really enjoyed the day. I thought the topics covered were very relevant to my ELSA role, and all of the sessions were so interesting and thought-provoking!”
“The Suicide Prevention and Postvention session was an incredible eye opener! It is so helpful to know some of the warning signs; how to sensitively support and offer help to prevent suicide, and to support those affected by suicide.”
“I felt like I really needed this session on Supporting Trans and Non-Binary Pupils to increase my awareness in this area. It was so helpful to go through all of the terminology and the research.”
“The content covered in the Sleep and Mental Health session was absolutely fascinating, and it gave information that parents; children and young people, and staff in school can really benefit from knowing!”
